Before we go any further you might be asking yourself one question…how old is this guy? Is he old enough to be an Optometrist? The short answer is yes…yes he is. Let’s see how good your math is. He was born in 1979…go!
Are you a morning or a night person? I am definitely a night person. I get my best work done when the house is dark and quiet.
I am best known to my family as… being the family jungle gym…I am at the mercy of the kids.
Favorite smell? Fresh baking bread…mmmm
Favorite St. George area restaurants? Gosh, there are so many! Sakura and Royal Thai Cuisine are definitely at the top of the list.
Favorite foods? Pizza. A pizza prepared right… with the right bread!
Did you always want to be an optometrist? I originally started pursuing a career in computer science. One late night, halfway through the semester, while working in the computer lab on a coding assignment…I decided that I would take the “W” on my transcript. I have never looked back. I think I made the right decision!
What are your hobbies? A few years ago, after spending the summer on Oahu, I decided to start a YouTube channel called Super Ukulele. I share ukulele song lessons and tips. I also love the outdoors and can often be found trying to spot birds in the sky with my binoculars or my camera.
Meet Dr. Beard
